Dinner & Drinks - Social Science Encyclopedia
BY INVITATION ONLY.
Open only to contributors to the Social Science Encyclopedia. Wine & dine with the world’s leading thinkers. Set in a baroque Italian townhouse on Manhattan’s luxurious Upper East Side.
Guests are allowed to purchase a second ticket for a spouse/partner.
DRESS CODE: Formal.

World Trade Center Observatory Party
Enjoy views of New York City with drinks & friends at the One World Trade Center Observatory.
Guests will be able to explore all three levels of the observatory.
Plus, we’ll have our own bartender and section and where we can hangout.
DATE: March 22, 2025 (Saturday)
TIME: 6:00pm.
6:00pm entry time means we’ll get to see the views during daylight, at sunset, and after dark.
Ticket cost includes venue admission and voucher for one drink.
BOOK TICKETS THROUGH VENMO: @apex-experiences *If inclement weather is expected to obstruct the views, we’ll reschedule to a subsequent Saturday to ensure everyone has the best experience possible.
In the event of a rescheduling, guests will be notified by Thursday March 7, 4pm (48 hours in advance).
Prohibition Themed SpeakEasy Party
It’s the 1920’s, a decade of prosperity. The stock market is hitting record highs. Manhattan real estate developers are in a race to build the world’s tallest building. New York City is booming.
It’s also a decade of excess and decadence. The opulence of this era is the inspiration for F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby”.
And the 18th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution has banned alcohol.
But that won’t stop us from having a good time. Set in a prohibition-era themed speakeasy, we’re partying (and drinking) on the down-low.
LOCATION: The East Village, Manhattan. But, like any good speakeasy, we’re keeping particulars hush hush. Specific address details will be emailed to you when you book your tickets.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR GETTING IN: They’re called speakeasies for a reason. When you arrive at the venue, knock on the door. You’ll be asked for a password to get in. The password will be emailed to you after booking your tickets.
DRESS CODE: Gentlemen, get your suits ready. Ladies, grab your favorite dress. We’re keeping this one dapper.
